CONTENT CREATION: LAUREN, MERAKI MOMENTS MEDIA

Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I am a Family Photographer and Event Content Creator, capturing the most precious moments for my clients and a chance for them to relive all those little moments that mean the most.

What inspired you to be involved in this campaign shoot?

I am a huge advocate for self love and self acceptance. When I was given the opportunity to be a part of Luno & Stella’s campaign for International Women’s Day, supporting every single woman there lives to be, I was over the moon. To celebrate women for who they are, what they stand for and how they differ, is a beautiful opportunity.

What is your favourite thing about working in the wedding industry?

The reward you get when providing the newlyweds with their content. Nothing quite beats the positive feedback and happy faces once they’re able to relive the biggest day of their lives.

What is your proudest achievement?

My daughter. For a woman’s body to produce, grow, feed, home and birth another human being is pretty remarkable.

Which women inspire you the most and why?

Of course, the women in my family - they’re all fabulous. But any other woman who appreciates and respects themselves and their bodies for who they are, no matter what, is beautiful and very inspirational.

Being inspired by women who accept and have courage for who they are, no matter what shape, size, ethnicity or background they come from.
