Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I am a mum to two boys, a lover of musical theatre and I am sure I was a magpie in a former life! I am a makeup artist who works mainly in the wedding industry. I adore working with brides and bringing out my clients natural beauty.

What inspired you to be involved in this campaign shoot?

I was so excited about working with real women. I think it's important that women can be the best version of themselves. This shoot was about doing that and making each woman feel incredible.

What is your favourite thing about working in the wedding industry?

My favourite thing about the industry is being involved in such an important day. I love the process from meeting my couples, to being involved in the morning preparations. I always get emotional when I see the bride ready and feeling amazing.

What is your proudest achievement?

My proudest achievement was seeing my name featured in a magazine for the first time. I never thought I could make a living from being a makeup artist and I was so proud to see my work featured!

Which women inspire you the most and why?

I am very lucky to have many women in my life that inspire me. They are amazing in their careers and at home with their families. They work so hard and are so proud of the lives they create. They inspire me to be the best I can be.

This year’s International Women’s Day 2024 theme is #InspireInclusion. What does this mean to you?

I truly believe that every woman matters. No matter our differences in life, we are all amazing and should all be celebrated, included and be able to be ourselves unapologetically.
